The country fighting the COVID 19 pandemic’s second wave has suffered greatly. Many individuals have lost loved ones, and some are starving to death. People lost their jobs as a result of the lockdown-like situation. Karnataka is one of the worst-affected states during the second wave, and filming has been delayed as a result. Several technicians will be laid off as a result of this.
Yash, who starred in the first chapter of KGF, came to Twitter to lend a helping hand to those in need. He made the announcement while announcing a Rs 5,000 contribution to each member of the Karnataka Film Fraternity. Actors would assist the Kannada film fraternity, which has around 3000 members.

He went on to say that though this may not be a solution, it is his attempt to alleviate the agony of the technicians who are affected by the lockdown. “Covid 19 has proved to be an invisible enemy that has dismantled the livelihoods of innumerable people across our country. My own Kannada Film fraternity has been badly affected as well. In light of the grave times, we live in, to each of the 3000 odd members which include all the 21 departments of our film fraternity,” he continued in his tweet.
He continued “I will be donating from my earnings, a sum of Rs 5,000 to their personal accounts. While I am very well aware that this may not serve as a solution to the loss and the pains caused by the situation we are in, it’s a ray of hope, since it’s hope that is certainty of faith, faith of better times.”
