Netflix has a number of films, movies and documentaries coming out in 2022. One of the streamer’s upcoming projects is Wednesday, a great series based on Wednesday Addams, a character from the iconic Addams Family. Wednesday, like some of his terrifying family members, was created by cartoonist Charles Addams for illustrations in The New Yorker from the 1930s. The Addams family has been involved in countless media projects for many years, including a film franchise from the 1990s with Christina Ricci on Wednesday.
Al Gough and Miles Millar (‘Smallville’) have written this mysterious, interesting and supernatural series that follows the protagonist’s years as a student at Nevermore Academy. There he seeks to master his emerging psychic abilities while facing a horrific murder that terrifies the local city and to solve the mysterious supernatural in which his parents were involved 25 years ago, while going through his new and intense relationships with a foreign and diverse student body. .
Netflix has affirmed that Wednesday will premiere in 2022. But the exact month and day have not yet been revealed. The first season will consist of eight episodes, all of which will probably debut on the same day. Wednesday will only be available for streaming on Netflix.
