Some time ago there were false rumors that Hrithik Roshan refused to shoot parts of his next film in Uttar Pradesh, so he would have to move to Dubai. However, now the creators of the film, Reliance Entertainment, have cleared things up.
The statement came after several reports that Vikram Vedha star Hrithik Roshan refused to shoot in Uttar Pradesh and urged the producers to shoot in Dubai.
Reliance Entertainment’s statement described the reports as “misleading and totally unsubstantiated”, confirming that much of Vikram Vedha was shot in India and that the filming locations included Lucknow, which is located in Uttar Pradesh. The statement called the attempts to “distort” the facts “malicious and false”. The statement also made it clear that actors’ suggestions are welcome, but “production and budget decisions are a centralized prerogative.”

The film is based on the popular Indian folk tale “Vikram Aur Betal”. It is the story of a police officer ready to hunt down an evil gangster. “Vikram Vedha” is the remake of a 2017 Tamil film starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupati. In this, we can see Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan as gangsters. Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf are some of the other actors in the film. The film will be released in late September 2022.
