Holland was born in Kingston upon Thames, London, England on June 1, 1996. His mother, Nicola Holland, is a photographer, and his father, Dominic Holland, is an author and comedian. Holland is the middle kid of a family of four, with three younger brothers.
Holland did his schooling from Roman Catholic preparatory school Donhead, in Wimbledon, and Wimbledon College, before he went to The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon. He originally started dancing in a hip hop lesson at Nifty Feet Dance School in Wimbledon.
