Elvis Presley’s much-expected biopic premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday night, where it had been met with mixed reviews from critics. There is a lot of emotion surrounding Baz Luhrmann’s film because the director hopes to recreate the buzz he created by bringing the cancan to Cannes with Moulin Rouge! 20 years ago.
