Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is investigating a drug case following the suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput over the past two years and has now sued Riyu Chakraborty, the alleged girlfriend of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his brother Shauvik and others. . During the NCB investigation, she identified Riyu Chakraborty, her brother Shauvik and others as the main defendants in the case of buying and supplying drugs to Sushant.
According to PTI, the special public ministry Atul Sarpande said that all the allegations mentioned in the indictment against him were supported. He has already been mentioned in the indictment. They also demanded that the cases against Riya and Shovik be proven for drug use, such as the purchase and payment of drugs for the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. , 28, 29 and 30, including drugs and psychotropic substances.
Special Judge on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Raghuvanshi ruled in favor of the July 12 hearing. Atul Sarpande said the court would already settle cases against all suspects. However, this will not happen because some of the suspects have requested acquittal. He said the cases would be completed only after a decision on the request for acquittal, the court said. The case is due to go to court on July 12. On the other hand, the court has not yet ruled on cases against Riya.
Riya Chakraborty was arrested in September 2020 in the Sushant Singh Rajput drug case. Riya was released on bail in Mumbai High Court after nearly a month in prison. Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself at his headquarters on June 14, 2020. The case is being dealt with by the NCB.
