Bollywood star Radhika Apte is one of the most well-known in the industry. Radhika has appeared in films in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi, in addition to Hindi. Radhika worked in Ram Gopal Varma’s Hindi/Telugu film ‘Rakt Charitra’ 11 years ago, about which the actress has now made a surprising revelation.
Radhika told Grazia India in an interview that she thought she was being abused at the time. In that film, Radhika portrayed a village girl.

Radhika, in the interview, said ‘I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to do this film or not. To be honest, I felt like I was being taken advantage of because I didn’t get any money for it. ‘He told me that if I do this film now, he would offer me a Telugu and Tamil film, so I thought it was okay,’ the actress said. The film featured big names, and the production never got off to a good start. I’ve never been in a position where I needed to work urgently. But I didn’t feel obligated to stay on set for an extended period of time; otherwise, my time and talent would be wasted. I was really excited about the occasion, even though I have been a big fan of Ram Gopal Varma since the days of Satya and Rangeela.’
