Jackie Bushman, 29, took action on an idea he’d had since he was a youngster in 1986.
The young Montgomery, Alabama, native had grown up hunting and experiencing the great outdoors with his grandfather. He wished to extend the hunting camp’s friendship to a national level. He envisioned a deer hunting club that would foster a sense of community, sportsmanship, and wildlife conservation, all while presenting a favorable image of deer hunters worldwide.
His ambition developed fast with the help of family, friends, investors, and new subscribers. He released the first edition of Buckmasters Whitetail Magazine in 1987.
