Here is a post shared by Kajol on the 24th anniversary of Ishq:
Let us tell you that Juhi was the last film of Chawla and Aamir Khan, which both of them did together. Actually, misunderstandings had arisen between the two over a joke. After this, Juhi became very angry with Aamir and after that, both of them never worked together.
Talking about the sets of the film, Aamir had a lewd joke with Juhi. Actually, what happened was that on the set of the film, Aamir told Juhi that he knows astrology and should show her hand. On this, as soon as Juhi showed her hand to Aamir, he ran away after spitting on her hand.
Juhi was enraged by the action of Aamir. She did not like Aamir’s joke at all and left the set immediately. Not only this, Juhi had refused to even shoot the film at that time.
However, later Juhi somehow completed the shooting of ‘Ishq’, but also vowed never to work with Aamir again. The two did not talk to each other for 5-6 years. However, after 5-6 years, Juhi herself started talking to Aamir first.
Even during the shooting of the film Tum Mere Ho, Aamir caught Juhi with a snake and tried to come close to her. Juhi was scared seeing this and ran away leaving the set. However, later everything was back to normal.
At the same time, Ajay Devgan and Kajol’s love story started with this film. It was with this film that both of them started dating each other. After dating for 4 years, both had decided to get married.
Ajay-Kajol married in 1999. However, her father was very angry with Kajol’s decision to get married and did not talk to her daughter for 4 days.
Let us tell you that the film was earlier offered to Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit but due to Ajay Devgan, Karisma refused to work in this film.
Indra Kumar first wanted to make this film in 1991 with the then superhit heroine Pooja Bhatt. But due to differences in the relationship between Aamir and Pooja, the film had to be postponed for three years.
On the work front, Aamir will next be seen in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, which is a remake of Forrest Gump. At the same time, Ajay Devgan will be seen in RRR, Maidan, Thank God, and Gangubai Kathiawadi in the coming days.
