Actress Kate Mara, best known for her role in ‘House of Cards’ is currently expecting her second child with husband Jamie Bell. Mara, 39, made the announcement through an Instagram post. “There are three of us in this photo,” the House of Cards star captioned a photo of herself and Bell, 36, holding hands.
In the picture, Kate wears a short pink dress with silver embellishment on top, while Bell looks classically cool in a black suit. After Kate dropped the news, fans took to the comments section to congratulate the couple.
For those who don’t know, the couple are already parents to a daughter whose name they are keeping secret. The actor also has a son with his ex-wife Evan Rachel Wood. Before Kate was born, Dr. Berlin’s Informed Pregnancy Podcast caught up with her before she became pregnant with her daughter, explaining that she had a damaged egg, which occurs “when a fertilized egg attaches to the wall of the uterus, but the embryo doesn’t heal.”
Kate Mara and Jamie Bell began dating in the fall of 2015, and PEOPLE confirmed their engagement in January 2017. The former Fantastic Four actors later announced in July that they had married and are now husband and wife.
