A special screening of R. Madhavan’s Rocketry film: The Nambi Effect held by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in Delhi on Monday. The rocketry team led by its writer, director and lead actor Madhavan attended the screening. Also present were former CBI Director DR Karthikeyan, former IG CBI PM Nair, senior officers, and film company stakeholders.
Thanks to the script, editing, acting, and portrayal of the life story of Nambi Narayanan, audience well received the film.
During the screening, Madhavan shared that this film is a celebration of Indian technological power around the world and in the IT sector. “This is a tribute to Master Nambi Narayanan, whose Vikas engine never failed. It also conveys to the world the message of India’s soft power in terms of human resource expertise and scientific excellence, the actor said.”
Apurva Chandra, I&B’s secretary, said the film is a tribute to thousands of scientists, including Nambi Narayanan. They have dedicated their entire lives to the success of India’s space program.

The film will be hitting theaters on July 1. It is a biographical drama based on the life of Nambi Narayanan. He is a former scientist and aeronautical engineer at the Indian Space Research Organization. He was falsely accused in 1994 of being a spy. Months after the arrest of the accused by Kerala police. Then, the CBI looked at the evidence and found that the whole case had made to frame him.
In the film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has a strong cast, including Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta and Ron Donachie. In addition, our superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya will appear in special cameo roles in this film. The film will be be releasing on July 1 in six different languages . That are Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. It had its world premiere recently at the 25th Cannes Film Festival. There it garnered a standing ovation from the audience.
