On the occasion of the 139th anniversary of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, the first preview of the upcoming biographical film ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ was released on Saturday. Randeep Hood is the main character in a film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Producer Sandeep Singh said of the film: “At a time when films with Harshad Mehta, Vijay Mallya and Lalit Modim were in vogue, I was more interested in telling the life story of Veer Savarkar. He was the first dynamic actor in India. He was a hero and the only man who could save the Partition in 1947. He is the most misunderstood hero. And now is the time to understand and celebrate with a rebel like him.
At first glance at the movie poster, the actor’s appearance is very similar to Veer Savarkar’s. At the same time, the slogan “Hindutva Dharma Nahi, Itihas Hai” was written on the film’s first poster. According to reports, filming will begin in August this year. Anand Pandit, Sam Khan and Sandeep Singh will make this film together. The film is directed by experienced actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar.
