One of Elon Musk’s children applied for a change of name according to his birth. In her petition, former Xavier Alexander Musk asked the court to change her gender from male to female. The teenager says that the reason for changing her name was “gender identity and the fact that I no longer live or want to have any relationship with my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Her new name was modified in an online document, the agency said. However, according to the TMZ report, she wants her name to be Vivian Jenna Wilson based on her gender identity and the use of her mother’s maiden name. An application for a name change and a new birth certificate was filed in Los Angeles County High Court in April but was only recently revealed.
There were no further details about the apparent rift between Musk’s daughter and her father.
Neither Ms. Musk’s lawyer nor Tesla’s media office responded to the petition or filed a lawsuit.
"I had a weird childhood," my 18 year old said to me. "I can't believe I'm as normal-seeming as I am."

"I'm proud of myself!"
The former Xavier is the daughter of Canadian writer Justine Wilson. She has a twin, Griffin. The couple, who married in 2000, lost their first Nevada child, Alexander Musk, when he was 10 weeks old, due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Xavier was born in 2004. Two years later, Musk and Wilson became the parents of three children, Kai, Saxon and Damian. Xavier, Griffin, Kai, Saxon and Damian were born with IVF.
Xavier is currently 18 years old. Justine Wilson and Elon Musk split in 2008.
In the new name proposed by the petition, Xavier abandoned the surname Musk, giving all signs of a break with her famous father.
Her new name bears the surname of her mother Wilson.
Elon Musk has previously been outraged by criticism of the use of preferred pronouns for transgender and non-binary people. One of his tweets is: “I support trance, but all these pronouns are a beautiful dream” and “Pronouns suck.
