Doctor Strange 2 is Bonkers With a Horror Show Says, Olsen

Doctor Strange 2 in the Multiverse of Madness, according to Elizabeth Olsen, will take the MCU in new directions with its bonkers, horror show vibe.

According to star Elizabeth Olsen, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a crazy horror show. After a fan-favorite run in Marvel’s first Disney+ series WandaVision, Olsen will reprise her role as Scarlet Witch in the highly awaited sequel.

Fans are excited only by the title, as Marvel appears to be about to blow the Multiverse wide open after teasing its presence in previous films. Although WandaVision may not have specifically introduced the Multiverse, it did set Scarlet Witch on a course that could lead to her opening the doors to terrifying new worlds. With Sam Raimi directing, Marvel has made it clear that the film would lean toward a horror vibe, and Olsen confirms this in a recent interview.

When Wanda goes searching for Billy and Tommy in the Multiverse, she appears to unwittingly unleash more havoc on the universe, crashing into America Chavez in the process. It’s uncertain what form these horrors will take, but as Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness nears completion, more information on what’s in store for the film will start to surface.

Stephen Strange has appeared in a number of MCU films, including Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Even so, by the time the film hits theatres next year, it will have been more than five years since the character’s last solo outing. As soon as more information becomes available, we’ll keep you posted. The movie Doctor Strange 2 is slated to released on March 25, 2022.
