Disney has revealed a sneak peek of its forthcoming series “Pam & Tommy” based on the true story of actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee’s infamous sex tape.
The series is set in the early days of the internet and follows the story of how an intimate video shot by the model and her musician lover became a worldwide hit.
Lily James and Sebastian Stan feature as the titular characters, with Nick Offerman and Seth Rogen serving as executive producers.

The VHS video was taken from the couple’s house by a dissatisfied contractor and subsequently put to the internet in 1997.
Offerman says, “It’s so private, it’s kind of like we’re seeing something that we’re not supposed to be seeing”.
“That’s kind of what makes it so hot.”
Here is the Trailer:
Talking about Pam and Tommy’s relationship, Pamela, 54, and Tommy, 59, married on a beach in Mexico in 1995 after dating for only four days. Pamela’s mother hadn’t even met Tommy at the time.
Brandon, 25, and Dylan, 24, were born to the couple, but they split in 1998.
Pam informed Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in 2015 that she never benefited from or even saw the sex tape. ‘I’ve never seen it,’ she said. I didn’t make a dime. It was a piece of stolen goods…
Pam said earlier this year that the movie wasn’t exactly a sex tape, but rather a collection of footage showing them naked on vacation with sex acts thrown in for good measure.
Pam feels Pam & Tommy is a ‘joke and cheap knock-off,’ according to insiders who spoke to The Sun last year.
Despite the fact that the show had just recently begun production, she allegedly referred to it as “God horrible,” and she claimed she had never heard of Lily or Sebastian.
Getting back to the series, Rob Siegel and DV DeVincentis wrote the eight-part original series, which is directed by Craig Gillespie.
Three new episodes will hit the streaming platform on February 2.
Disney claims that strong parental controls ensure that Disney+ maintains a family-friendly watching experience.
