Due to breathlessness, veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar was brought to Mumbai’s Khar Hinduja hospital on Sunday. Doctors are keeping an eye on the 98-year-old actor.
Kumar’s representative took to Twitter to issue a statement on his behalf. “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe,” they tweeted.

The actor was hospitalized in the same hospital for a regular check-up earlier this month. After all of the testings were completed, he was swiftly released.
COVID-19 took the lives of the actor’s two younger brothers, Aslam (88) and Ehsan (90), last year. Kumar, who debuted in 1944 with Jwar Bhata, has acted in a number of classic films over the course of his five-decade career, including Kohinoor, Mughal-e-Azam, Devdas, Naya Daur, and Ram Aur Shyam, among others. In 1998, he was last seen on the big screen in Qila.
