‘Chehre,’ directed by Rumi Jafri, will feature Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. The film was supposed to be released on April 9 this year, but it had to be postponed due to the rising number of corona cases in the country.
In the meantime, it’s unclear whether Rhea Chakraborty along with Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi would be part of the film’s promotion. Anand Pandit, the producer of the film, has answered this question.
Rhea Chakraborty brought the film ‘Chehre’ into the spotlight last year. In fact, after the untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput at this time last year, Riya Chakraborty was named as a suspect in a drug-related case. ‘Chehre’ also stars Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Siddhant Kapoor, Raghuveer Yadav, and Crystal D’Souza, along with Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, and Riya Chakraborty.
After Riya Chakraborty’s name revealed in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, there were various reports that she would no longer be a part of the film “Chehre” or that her share would be cut off. She was also missing from the film’s poster that was released in March, leading to speculation that she might not appear in the trailer, but when the trailer was published, those questions vanished as she appeared in the trailer. Anand Pandit, the film’s producer, has stated that he will stick behind his actor and that Riya Chakraborty will appear in the film.
In a recent interview with ‘Spotboy,’ Anand Pandit confirmed that the film will be released in theaters. The movie is set to hit theaters in the next two to three months.
When asked if Riya will be a part of the promotion of the film, Anand Said; “As far as promotion is concerned, our staff will assess who needs it. I don’t believe that the presence of Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi will necessitate any further promotion. I don’t want to take advantage of Riya Chakraborty’s position for the time being. We’ll give her a share of the promotion if she’s happy, but it doesn’t matter if she’s not.
