Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and filmmaker Ayan Mukherji attended the launch event of Brahmastra’s motion poster. Brahmastra is also the first movie in which Alia and Ranbir will be seen together.
While fans were excited to see Brahmastra’s motion poster after a lot of delays, what took the attention was Alia and Ranbir’s amazing chemistry on stage.

During the questioning session, a fan asked Ranbir Kapoor about when he plans to marry Alia. “When will you marry Alia or someone else?”, Ranbir read the question aloud as the audience cheered. The couple could not stop blushing. However, without taking much time, Ranbir answered. “Haven’t we seen a lot of people marrying in the last one year. I think we should stay happy with that,” he answered.
He then turned towards Alia and asked her, “When will we get married?” A confused Alia replied, “Why are you asking me that?” Ranbir then pointed at Ayan and said, “I am asking him, humari kab hogi (when will ours happen)?” The filmmaker then said, “Aaj ke liye ek hi date kaafi hai (The announcement of one date is enough for today), Brahmastra ki release date. Let’s wait.”
At the event, Ranbir left no chance to leave Alia blushing. He asked his co-star about her relationship with the letter ‘R.’ “Why people keep asking you about your relationship with ‘R’? Ranbir asked. In response to the question, Alia replied, “Truth is that R is my life’s biggest… number 8 hai” emphasising that the letter R and number 8 both are lucky for her.
Ranbir was also all praise for Alia and his director Ayan Mukerji. He called himself lucky to be working in the time when the two talents exists. He called the two “inspiring.” However, Ranbir and Ayan both admitted that Alia is quite bossy. “She is a Nani maa,” Ranbir reacted when asked about Alia being a bully.
When a fan called Alia “hottest, prettiest and best” in the same sentence, she asked Ranbir if he has ever complimented her in the same sentence. “Not yet,” Ranbir said in a hushed and humble tone.
Ranbir and Alia have been dating since 2017 and even go on vacations together. Both of them also bond well with each other’s families. In an interview last year, with a renowned journalist, Ranbir had said, “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to mark that goal very soon in my life.”
Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, has been in the making for years. The makers treated fans to the film’s first look on Wednesday. the trilogy’s Part One: Shiva stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy. The motion poster reveals that Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Shiva, seeks a powerful weapon that is necessary to save the world from dark forces. Alia will play his ladylove Isha.
