Bob Odenkirk, star of “Better Call Saul,” was transported to the hospital after falling on the set of the program.
Variety.com says that the 58-year-old actor is now filming the final season of “Better Call Saul,” a spin-off of the massively famous series “Breaking Bad.”
On Tuesday, Bob Odenkirk slumped on the set of the show in New Mexico, prompting staff members to summon an ambulance. Odenkirk is currently being treated for his injuries.
In “Better Call Saul” and “Breaking Bad,” the actor plays con-man lawyer Saul Goodman.
The character’s development from criminally inclined Jimmy McGill to prominent criminal defence lawyer Saul is the focus of “Better Call Saul.”
Odenkirk has received four Golden Globe nominations for best actor in a television series drama and four Emmy nominations for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his role on “Better Call Saul.”
The actor most recently acted in the action picture “Nobody,” which earned mostly positive reviews and debuted at the top of the box office charts.
