Alia Bhatt calls Ranbir Kapoor her “boyfriend” as she flaunts his photography skills.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor‘s love has lately been the talk of the town. Ever since they made their relationship public, fans have been drooling over their adorable pictures and videos. On Friday, Alia Bhatt shared a series of pictures looking surreal in her no-makeup avatar which have been clicked by her “boyfriend” Ranbir Kapoor. “Casually flexing my boyfriend’s photography skills,” she captioned the post

In the pictures, Alia Bhatt flaunts her dimples as she looks away from the camera and smiles. In the next picture, she is staring straight into the lenses and yet again showing her faint smile. The third picture too has her looking away from the camera and yet again the focus seems to be on her dimple. The fourth one is the cutest picture as Alia, wearing a monkey cap and an army print hoodie just smiles and looks happy.

Well, this is the first time Alia has referred to Ranbir as his ‘boyfriend’ on social media. As soon as she dropped the post industry friends and fans flooded her comment section with appreciating messages. Everyone complimented her dimples and dropped her red heart emoticon.

Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor reacted to the picture as she dropped heart and heart-eyed emojis in the comments section. Alia’s friend, fashion designer Tanya Gharvi wrote “Dimples” along with a heart emoji. One fan commented, “You look so pretty. No doubt why Ranbir turned into your photographer. lots of love.”

On December 28, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were seen jetting off to Maasai Mara, Kenya for their New Year 2022 vacation. They posed for the paps as they set off to revisit nature, up and close. Since the day she arrived, the actress has been actively dropping alluring pics from the getaway, keeping her fans on their toes. On 31st night’s eve, Alia treated her fans with sneak peeks from their holiday and jungle safari captioned it, “Giving 2022 some hakuna matata energy stay safe smile .. be simple and love more!!!!! happy new year.” The first had Alia posing for a cute selfie, while the next has Ranbir Kapoor sipping a drink from a silver glass. She also shared images of giraffes and lions in the wild.

Alia and Ranbir have been dating for more than three years now. The two fell in love on the sets of their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’. The film’s director Ayan Mukerji recently revealed during the poster launch that he directed the couple to refrain from making appearances together.

Ayan said, “To be honest when we started our film, I thought this is the best casting- Ranbir and Alia, powerhouses. It was just too good. Then Ranbir and Alia became very good friends, then very very very good friends in life, then more than friends. So then, I didn’t want the whole world to see them for these 4 years. I didn’t want anyone to see them till my film had not come out. So, Lots of things haven’t happened in their lives because every time they went out together, I would be sitting at the back saying ‘you all are ruining my film. Please don’t go anywhere.’ It feels good now that we can share them.”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, the duo will together be seen in Brahmastra. Billed as a trilogy, the big-budget fantasy adventure epic stars also megastar Amitabh Bachchan. 

Helmed by Ayan Mukherji, the film features Kapoor as Shiva, a man born with special powers; Bhatt as Isha, his love interest, and Bachchan as his mentor. The film was initially titled ‘Dragon’ and the filmmaker said the team changed the name to ‘Brahmastra’ as it was a more appropriate choice.

Also starring Nargarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy, “Brahmastra” will be released on September 9 next year in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is produced by Fox Star Studios, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. 

Alia Bhatt will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film RRR alongside Jr. NTR and Ramcharan and in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi as the titular character.
