On Monday night, Tamil actor Dhanush announced his divorce from filmmaker wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth after 18 years of marriage.
Dhanush and Aishwarya posted notes announcing their separation on their respective social media sites confirming their divorce.
“We’ve spent 18 years together as friends, a couple, parents, and well-wishers. Growth, comprehending, adjusting, and adapting have all been part of the experience. Today, we’ve reached a point when our paths diverge. In order to better understand ourselves as individuals, Aishwaryaa and I have decided to separate as a couple.
Aishwarya Rajnikanth, who made the announcement on Instagram, added: “No caption needed. Only your understanding and love necessary”.
“We’ve spent 18 years together as friends, a couple, parents, and well-wishers. “It’s been a process of learning, changing, and adapting,” the message on Twitter stated.
