Grammy winning musician Adele has announced a Las Vegas residency, titled ‘Weekends with Adele’. The residency concert will take place between 21 January and 16 April 2022, with two shows each weekend in the Colosseum theatre at Ceasers Palace Hotel, Las Vegas.
“See you at Caesars in Vegasss,” Adele wrote in a post on Twitter, announcing the concert residency.

The announcement comes in the wake of her fourth album ’30’, which released earlier this month to huge critical acclaim and commercial success. It is debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week with by far the year’s biggest first-week numbers, around 839,000 units. It has become the top-selling album of 2021 in just three days, topping Taylor Swift’s “Evermore,” which had sold 462,000 copies over 11 months.
The album garnered widespread love and attention as it is regarded as Adele’s most heartfelt albums of all times. Some of her other chart busters include ‘Someone Like You‘, ‘Rolling In The Deep’, ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ and ‘Skyfall’.

The Colosseum, which has an official capacity of 4,100, provides a relatively intimate environment for Adele’s famously chatty concerts, which find her courtly and often-sad songs contrasting with her humor and hilarious, self-deprecating banter.
Adele has become the latest star to take on a Vegas residency, with Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Céline Dion, Britney Spears and Elton John all securing lucrative concert deals in the city in recent years.
Adele undertook a massive global tour in 2016 and 2017 supporting her previous album, 25, which took in some 121 arena dates across Europe, North America, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand before wrapping with four shows at London’s 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium.
Tickets for Weekends With Adele will first be available via a presale to registered customers, who must sign up by Friday.
